Ladies of Harley

Ladies of Harley

(L.O.H.) is a program sponsored by the Harley Owners Group® to support women motorcycle enthusiasts (both riders and passengers). It is not a separate organization within H.O.G.®, but was established to encourage women to become more active in H.O.G. and their local chapters.

All Ladies who are members of the Townsville H.O.G. Chapter are, by virtue of that membership, members of L.O.H.

Townsville H.O.G. enthusiastically encourages women to join in on our events and come on our rides, although L.O.H. members do not have to be riders. L.O.H. membership is open to all female motorcycle enthusiasts and whether you are riding or a pillion – ladies are all welcome.

There are a lot of misconceptions about Ladies of Harley.

L.O.H. is not a separate group from H.O.G. but simply an added benefit for female members. Once you have become a full or associate HOG member you only need to fill in an application form to become a L.O.H. member. There is no further cost involved even though you will receive many extra benefits, such as an embroidered L.O.H. patch, a bronze LOH pin for each year of membership, you will also qualify to participate in extra programs such as ABCs of Touring and the HOG Mileage Program just for starters.

While the LOH Officers and the members of LOH can organize events that may be more appealing to women, ALL members of the Townsville H.O.G. Chapter are welcome to participate.  Our meetings, scheduled event and shenanigans can be found on the Townsville H.O.G. Facebook page and all other communication mediums that our club facilitates.

When an event is labelled ‘L.O.H.’ it does not mean that it’s for ladies only! Men are always welcome and encouraged to attend and support their ladies. It simply means that the event has been organised and hosted by L.O.H. of the Townsville H.O.G. Chapter.

We truly hope that L.O.H. is where lasting friendships can be made, where laughter is heard and where wonderful memories are made.

It’s where our ladies come together to share their common interest in Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
